Even so, the magnitude of events will not overshadow the value of one human life. Author’s Biography Lloyd R. Little Lloyd Little is the third of nine Irish Catholic children. He was born to Laura and Joseph Little in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Catholic grade school in suburban Pennsylvania. At the age of ten, his parents moved to the New Jersey countryside. Lloyd has three college degrees. They include a Master of Arts Degree in education from Glassboro State College, recently renamed Rowan University. He taught in the public schools for eight years and coached numerous sports. During this time, he relocated to the Jersey Shore, opening a small business with his wife Joyce. Ishmael’s Apocalypse is a reflection of the faith he received during his Catholic school years and pursued during his adult life. The End Time interpretations in this story incorporate teachings found throughout many world religions.

Ishmael's Apocalypse by Lloyd Little is a book worthy of our dollars and time. The whimsical characters and fast pace action will keep you turning page after page. Not wanting to put the book down made me late for appointments and I lost some sleep turning the pages in the middle of the night.There are several items to bring to your attention about this book. First of all, and as mentioned already, the characters of the book are rich in depth, humor, passion and devotion. All of this is revealed in unparallel dialogue and meditative thought. Secondly, the author's research and creativity of modern technology resembles a Tom Clancy novel. Like the special ability of satellites to see things beyond the human eye and even imagination. Thirdly, the author's poetic description of love touches the human heart with honesty and purity. Likewise his poetic description of death is too real for even the most stoic of the human race. Fourthly, his use, of all people, Mark Twain's description of the city of Damascus will compel you to want to visit the city which has endured for thousands of years. Lastly, as I turn the pages I keep thinking how is this book going to end? The reader will have no clue until the last chapter which reveals the special revelation of the most important person in human history.
I was overwhelm with the how the author was able to knit together people, events, situations and technology to turn our hearts and mind both inwardly, outwardly and upwardly. There were moments of shock beyond belief leading me to put the book down in order to digest what I just read. But as with all good writers, I was drawn back into the book to find out what was gona happen next. Looking for that next book to read then consider Ishmael's Apocalypse...Trust me you will not be disappointed!

This book is packed with mysteries and suspense. I couldn't put this one down. A must-read for everyone. A superb novel that really makes you think......
A delectable cocktail of Kant and Clancy, "Siddhartha" and "1984," "Apocalypse" successfully intertwines current events and modern technologies with ancient and everlasting theologies to produce an absolutely mindbending experience. Add a dash of old school nihilistic existentialism, and the result is an ethereal journey/mission to reveal an (id)entity that holds the fate of mankind hostage.
A GREAT read from a talented author who obviously sidesteps the "sophomore jinx" with this effort. I can't wait to see what tasty drink he concocts next!
